32nd Annual Vegetable and Flower Show

The 32nd Annual Flower and Vegetable Show was held on 15-18 January, 2009, where 117 participants with 11332 exhibits comprising of plants, flowers, bonsai, cacti and in specialists category medicinal plants, flower cutting and ornamental indoor/outdoor plants. Sri Prabir Roy from New York inaugurated the show. Workshops and debates were organised with the plant growers and school children on 16 and 17th January. Prize distribition and closing ceremoney was held on 18th January.

The mentally retarded children of Behala Bodhayan (a voluntary organization) displayed their unique performance at the begining of the clsoing ceremoney. P.C. Chandra group was the key sponsor of the event. We has patronage and sponsorship from many well wishers. Our heartiest thanks to all those who helped us organizing the mega event.
