The 33rd Annual Flower & Vegetable Show 2010 was held from 14th to 17th July, 2010 at Barisha High School Playground, near Behala Chowrastha. A total of 67 participants with one hundred seventy seven varieties of vegetable, flower, cut flower, fruits, plants, shrubs, bonsai, cactus were displayed. An exodus of 80,000+ visited the exhibition during the four days. Apart from the exhibition, there was a seminar on herbal plants on 16th. There were cultural shows in the evening of 15th and 16th.
The inauguration of the exhibition was done by Dr. GS Giri, Director, Head, Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Botanic Garden, Howrah on 14th afternoon. There were cultural shows organized in the evening of 15th and 16th January. The prize distribution was done by eminent personalities from all walk of life on 17th afternoon when Justice Ruma Paul was the chief guest. After the prize distribution, Justice Ruma Pal declared the exhibition close for the year.
