Barisha Suburban Agri-Horticultural Society

A few enthusiastic lovers of ecology, flowers & plants, joined hands together and founded a society in the name of Barisha Suburban Agri-Horticultural Society registered under West Bengal act XXIV of 1961 vide serial no 53863 of 2008-09, on 01 Aug, 2008 at Kolkata, by Registrar of Firms, Societies and Non-Trading Corporations, West Bengal. Shri Subhash Guha Niyogi, a senior professional from banking industry, who started his career with Imperial Bank and continued with State Bank of India for over 42 years, had been organizing annual Flower and Vegetable shows for 2 decades in his personal capacity. In course of time, people from different walk of life and ecology lovers consolidated the thoughts and actions of Shri Subhash Guha Niyogi and today the society has reached a respectable position conducting Annual Flower and Vegetable Shows, rendering consultation to the vegetable and flower growers and conducting awareness program in favour of protection of environment and conservation of greenery.
